The Grand Hotel Birmingham appoints new Deputy General Manager

The Grand Hotel Birmingham has announced the appointment of Charlotte Horler to the role of Deputy General Manager.

Horler joins The Grand Hotel Birmingham after a three year stint as Deputy General Manager at New Hall Hotel & Spa.

She has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector and has served in numerous senior management roles.

Horler’s career in hospitality began at the age of 15 at Walton Hall & Walton Hotel. Following a stint in the kitchen, Horler realised she belonged Front of House. She then progressed to Food & Beverage Supervisor, Front Office Receptionist and Front of House Manager, before a role at Billesley Manor as Operations Manager.

A move to London followed as Horler was appointed Front of House Manager at The Montague on the Gardens Hotel in Bloomsbury.

From 2018, she served as Deputy General Manager at New Hall Hotel & Spa where she was directly responsible for hotel operations with a particular focus on Front of House and Food and Beverage, managing 78 employees.

Horler commented: “I’m truly honoured to join The Grand Hotel Birmingham. To be working at such an iconic hotel with a talented team during an important year is a career highlight. Our aim is to be Birmingham’s favourite hotel and I’m very excited to lead the team operationally to cement this whilst ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional experiences and create special memories for our guests.”
