Savills has been appointed to sell Sidholme Hotel in Devon, a Grade-II listed hotel with 71 bedrooms that is currently owned by the Christian Guild.
The hotel, which dates back to 1826, is being marketed for offers in excess of £1.9m.
The property is located in the Elysian Fields, close to the seaside town of Sidmouth which is popular with tourists in the summer months, and occupies 5.2 acres of private gardens and grounds.
Its main building comprises 46 bedrooms, and public areas such as lounges, a conference room, restaurant and a tennis, with a further 25 bedrooms and nine bathrooms situated in a separate block.
A detached building houses a swimming pool, three-bedroom owners’ bungalow and other facilities include snooker, table tennis and darts.
