Christie + Co appoints two new managing directors to drive hospitality growth


Christie + Co has announced changes to its hospitality team with the appointment of two new managing directors to drive growth within the hotels and pubs & restaurants markets.

Carine Bonnejean joins as managing director – hotels and Stephen Owens, as managing director – pubs & restaurants, with current MD of hospitality Barrie Williams leaving the business after four years as a result of the changes.

Bonnejean has been with Christie + Co for the last 14 years and will now align with the company’s advisory, brokerage and international hotel teams.

Owens will retain responsibility for the hospitality valuation team, alongside leading the corporate pubs & restaurants team comprising the three senior directors; Neil Morgan, Noel Moffitt and Simon Chaplin.

Darren Bond, managing director – capital markets and global managing director designate, comments, “Carine has been instrumental in the development of our Hotels Consultancy business over the past 14 years and is a leading figure in the industry. This is a significant appointment, which will see Carine responsible for all our hotel industry strategy in the UK and Europe, working closely with our regional teams.
