David Mclaughlin moves higher at Lower Slaughter Manor


David McLaughlin has taken over as general manager of Lower Slaughter Manor, following the departure of Abigail Hardiman.

Formerly deputy GM at the hotel in the Cotswolds, Mclauglin has enjoyed a long career with Brownsword Hotels, most recently working at the Art House hotel in Glasgow which he will continue to oversee until later in the summer.

Working closely with Lower Slaughter’s head chef Jamie Raftery, McLaughlin has just rolled out the hotel’s new Farm to Fork menu which will be served in the newly refurbished Sixteen58 restaurant.

Raftery, who previously worked for three years under Michael Caines at Gidleigh Park and Angela Hartnett at The Connaught won an Acorn award in 2013.
