De Vere Cotswold Water Park, part of De Vere’s collection of properties, has revealed the results of a £100,000 refurbishment to its Spa6, including a complete transformation of the gym.
The renovation has been designed to improve the guest experience from the point of arrival, with a new look and feel in the reception area continuing through to the changing rooms.
The Spa6 gym has a suite of new Technogym equipment, including skill-rowing machines, skill-bikes, full body resistance machines and a free weight area.
Louise Tunsich, director of Spa at De Vere Cotswold Water Park, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted with the results of the refurbishment. The new equipment and enhanced look and feel of the Spa6 space will allow us to continue to deliver a high-end guest experience for our members and guests and gives us a real edge in our competitive set.”
Spa6 features a 11m hydro-pool, experience showers, bucket showers, heated loungers, steam room, sauna, crushed ice fountain and nine treatment rooms.
In November, the spa launched a collaboration with JustBe Botanicals to offer guests bespoke treatments and products.
De Vere Cotswold Water Park is one of the first hotels in England to stock the brand and offer its treatments.
De Vere Cotswold Water Park has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, which has seen the renovation of its family apartments and luxury bedrooms; The Old Boathouse Restaurant & Bar; the reception and lobby areas as well as seeing the introduction of The Muddy Duck Café.
