De Vere Tortworth Court shakes up management team with new manager hires


De Vere Tortworth Court, part of the De Vere portfolio of country estate hotels, has brought in two new members to its management team.

The 201-bedroom hotel has appointed Raphael Herzog as general manager and Neil Parry as deputy general manager, following the property’s recent multimillion pound refurbishment, which has seen the opening of the new 1853 Restaurant and Bar and Library Bar, renovation of The Orangery and enhancements to the property’s meetings and events spaces.

Herzogjoins De Vere Tortworth Court with more than 15 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, with roles at Holiday Inn Bristol, Bristol Hotel – part of The Doyle Collection, and at the Courthouse Doubletree by Hilton.

To support his appointment, Neil Parry joins De Vere Tortworth Court as deputy general manager from his position as hotel manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham.

Parry’s hotel and hospitality experience stretches over 18 years with roles including, general manager at the Holiday Inn Express in Cardiff, deputy general manager at the Holiday Inn Bristol and food & beverage manager and operations manager at Hampton by Hilton.
