The owners of a hotel near Louth in Lincolnshire are bidding to open a new holiday park to meet demand for corporate stays and encourage more long-stay guests.

Oak Ridge Group, the owners of the Brackenborough Arms Hotel, have submitted an application with East Lindsey District Council to create a 37-lodge holiday park adjacent to the hotel.

Within the application, a statement from Lincs Design Consultancy says that ‘to address the high percentage of corporate overnight stays, encourage longer stays and open the site to a broader market it is proposed to create a new holiday park.’

The project would see timber lodges created and positioned within three areas to the rear and east of the hotel and an existing pond extended to create a wildlife lake.

The application states that the lodges will differ in size and maximise solar and outdoor space.

Brackenborough Arms Hotel is a three-star hotel complete with a swimming pool, hot tub and a sauna on site. It is operated alongside the Ashbourne Hotel as part of the Oak Ridge Group.
