Dublin’s four-star Castleknock Hotel completes over £6m renovation scheme


Castleknock Hotel, the four-star property in Dublin, has just completed over a £6m (7million Euro) refurbishment that has seen a whole host of new features added to its offering.

The hotel has opened 52 new bedrooms, new restaurants facilities, a new spa and an upgraded leisure centre.

The property now has a total of 190 bedrooms, including 38 ‘deluxe’ rooms, upgraded amenities and three deluxe executive suites featuring four-poster beds and Jacuzzi baths.

Castleknock Hotel is owned by FBD Hotel & Resorts.

FBD Hotel & Resorts chief executive, David Kelly, said: “The spa is a particularly important addition. With an emphasis on premium brands and a premium experience, the spa makes Castleknock Hotel a real contender in the luxury hotel space.”

The upgraded leisure centre includes a 10-metre swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and state-of-the-art gym, while new restaurant Earth & Vine serves a contemporary menu of artisan food presided over by chef Neal Kearns.
