A new boutique aparthotel is gearing up to open its doors this September in East London.
Rockwell East is a new 57 apartment property, with all-day dining café, owned by London-based property developers Marldon and designed by Waldo Works.
The apartments range from studios to one bedroom and family apartments, with the colour palette for each one inspired by the patterns and colours of the sky.
Each apartment has a kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, plus a HDTV, amenities from The White Company, Nespresso coffee machine and a breakfast pack by Abel and Cole.
The Café, open from 7am – midnight every day, features burgundy, yellows, sepia and brandy tones, with the space divided into separate areas by soft velvet banquettes.
The space also features black steel chairs and lighting, soft cork upholstery and lightly brushed brass for the bar and other dining areas.
Modern European dining, with classic favourites, will be on the menu, with a wine selection curated by merchants Goedhuis & Co.
Fred Bartlett, associate partner at Marldon: “With a strong emphasis on design, mixed with comfort at an affordable price, we hope to create a stand-out experience in the growing London aparthotel market.”
Family-run Marldon has been in the property market since 1968 and boasts a portfolio including The Rockwell Hotel in Kensington which opened in 2005 and manages in house.
