Eden Hotel Collection to close Buckland Tout-Saints permanently as part of wider plan to ‘reshape’ the group


Eden Hotel Collection has confirmed that it will not reopen Buckland Tout-Saints when hotels are permitted to welcome back customers next month.

The decision has been made as part of a ‘broader plan to reshape Eden Hotel Collection’ a statement confirmed to Boutique Hotelier.

A spokesperson for EHC said: “We need to focus our future investment and efforts on growing the profitable parts of our business and on innovating and delivering the best customer experience.”

Set in 4.5 acres of gardens, Buckland Tout-Saints is home to 16 bedrooms, a large function suite and 2 AA Rosette restaurant.

Eden Hotel Collection previously put the hotel on the market in 2016, with an asking price of £2.75m.

Eden Hotel Collection currently comprises eight properties including Bovey Castle, Mallory Court and The Arden Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon.
