Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa has appointed Rebecca Gibbard as its new personnel and development manager.
Gibbard joins the five-star hotel from Lupitus Hotel Management Company where she worked as cluster HR manager.
In her new role, she will be responsible for supporting and advising employees on all aspects of personnel and development and providing the support services of the department.
She said: “I’m thrilled to have joined Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa and am looking forward to working with the team here. I’m passionate about developing people and helping to improve employee engagement in order to produce the very best working environment.”
Luton Hoo’s general manager Matthew Long said: “Rebecca demonstrates a genuine passion towards people management and has a proven track record as an industry professional. Luton Hoo Hotel is a Grade-I listed 18th century mansion house, home to 228 bedrooms, fine dining Wernher Restaurant, Adam’s Brasserie restaurant, ESPA spa and wellness facilities, a golf course and club house, and a separate private events venue, Warren Weir.
The hotel is part of Elite Hotels, a group of four historic hotels including Ashdown Park Hotel, The Grand Eastbourne, Tylney Hall and Luton Hoo.
