Bovey Castle in Devon has welcomed a new F&B manager who has a strong pedigree to help the hotel achieve its goal of a fourth AA rosette and Michelin star.
The five-star, 60-bedroom hotel has appointed Laura Dadulak, who joins from her position as general manager at Leathes Head Hotel in Borrowdale, Cumbria.
Prior to this she has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, in roles with Gilpin Lodge, Holbeck Ghyll and The Samling in the Lake District.
Director Greg Fehler said that her appointment will help the hotel’s three-AA-rosette Great Western restaurant is overseen by head chef Mark Budd, retain its accolades whilst also working towards a fourth Rosette and a Michelin star.
Speaking to Boutique Hotelier, he said: “We’re glad to have someone with such high standards joining us helping to retain the 5 Red Stars and looking to improve on the existing 3 Rosettes. She is a highly respected member of the team already and is clearly motivating the F&B front of house team towards our goal.”
The Eden hotel Collection acquired Bovey Castle from property investment company Delancey in 2014 and embarked on an extensive £10m investment, updating facilities, bedrooms and the spa.
