The Langley is preparing to open a new cookery school on site to continue momentum following the hotel’s hugely successful launch in June last year.
David Harris, hotel manager at the hotel, which is a Luxury Collection Hotel run by Marriott International, has told Boutique Hotelier that The Langley is ‘set for a very exciting 2020’ as it gears up for its first full year of operation.
A new cookery school kitchen will open and will introduce a programme of events featuring ’world-class chefs’ as well as appearance from a host of guest chefs.
Alongside this, The Langley will also be planting and landscaping its kitchen gardens and opening new tennis courts, plus launching a series of new wellness retreats.
Speaking to BH, Harris says: “The Langley will tap into the trend of molecular wellness and biohacking, and launch a series of wellness retreats in partnership with Matt Roberts and Bellecell. The retreats will give guests the opportunity to get a full bioanalysis, by specialist bio technicians, and tailored regimes will be created based on these findings to achieve the very best results.”
In a bid to cement its reputation as a top wedding destination, The Langley will also be hosting its first wedding showcase, and pushing cross-selling with its sister property The Wellesley in London.
“The Langley, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is set for a very exciting 2020. This will be our first full year of operation and we are very much looking to build the experience offered at the hotel, and truly demonstrating the depth and breadth of what we have to offer.
The Langley opened its doors in June 2019 following a six-year, multi-million pound renovation project of the former hunting lodge of the third Duke of Marlborough in Buckinghamshire.
The 41-bedroom hotel, spa, Matt Roberts gym and ‘seasonally-driven’ restaurant, were designed by Dennis Irvine Studio.
