Christie + Co has been instructed to market a family-run boutique hotel in the coastal resort town of East Links in Montrose, Scotland.
Grey Harlings Hotel boasts views over the historic Montrose golf links – the oldest course in the world – and the business is said to have a ‘large following’ on social media built up over the last 15 years.
The nine-bedroom hotel has also recently undergone a refurbishment and comprises a gym, lounge and bar and restaurant. Included in the sale is a three-bed owners flat.
Tony Spence, business agent, of Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, comments: “We’re delighted to be marketing the opportunity to acquire a popular business within Montrose, which our clients have owned for over 15 years.
“The business enjoys multiple revenue streams, operating as a hotel with a bar and restaurant, whilst the guest lounge area also provides an income stream for small functions and events. The business has a large following on Facebook and Instagram and also boasts fantastic reviews on TripAdvisor and Google.” The Grey Harlings Hotel is being sold at a freehold price of £750,000.
