Five-star hotel, The Chester Grosvenor has completed its £350k investment into its all-day dining restaurant and new Champagne and cocktail bar.
It was announced in January that the hotel had closed its 2 AA rosette restaurant to undergo a refurbishment, with the introduction of a new Champagne bar marking a first for the city.
Now La Brasserie and Champagne and Cocktail Bar have reopened, with feature fabrics, a painted glass skylight, plus two 3D bespoke art installations made from laser-cut gold metal leaves.
The new bespoke brass and quartz Champagne and Cocktail bar is situated at the heart of La Brasserie and stocks a selection of Champagne, spirits and cocktails.
General manager, The Chester Grosvenor, Richard Grove, comments: “We are delighted to announce the reopening of the all-new and breathtaking La Brasserie. With the brand-new look comes the stunning Champagne and Cocktail Bar with arguably one of the most opulent drinks list in the city, as well as a stunning new food menu created by head chef Gareth Jones and his team.
“With the plans being in the pipeline for quite some time, we couldn’t be more thrilled with long-awaited results and we hope our loyal customers and new ones like will enjoy La Brasserie as much as we are.”
The restaurant is also benefitting with new lunch and dinner menus, created by head chef Gareth Jones and overseen by Simon Radley, while a new cocktail menu has been devised for the bar.
