FIRST LOOK: Fuller, Smith and Turner reopens The Anglers after makeover

The Anglers

Pub and hotel operator, Fuller, Smith & Turner has announced the reopened of The Anglers in Teddington following a significant refurbishment.

The property has been closed since New Year’s Day and has since undergone a complete transformation, relaunching to the public on May 7.

The 18th century riverside pub now boasts a new bar, large kitchen and new first-floor function room, plus a new menu has been introduced.

The new design has been led by general manager Ben Walton.

Jonathon Swaine, managing director of Fuller’s, said: “We’ve injected a new lease of life in to this beautiful pub. The only thing that hasn’t changed is the outer walls of the building – everything else has been updated and it looks incredible. Ben is a great leader for our pub, he’s well-loved by locals and I can’t wait to see what he and his team have planned for the future.”

Earlier this year, The Fuller’s Beer Company was sold to Asahi Europe Ltd, meaning that Fuller, Smith and Turner is now a focused premium pub and hotel company comprising 34 properties throughout the UK.
