Boat-ique hotel the Sunborn Yacht London has opened a new Champagne deck as it bids to capitalise on its terrace and sprawling views over the capital this summer.
The four-star boutique, which is privately owned by managed by ISS, launched its new Laurent Perrier space at the end of April and will be welcoming guests until September 3.
The deck will be open from Monday to Sunday from 12pm until 10pm and is available for exclusive hire.
The Sunborn Yacht London is situated in the River Thames in East London and from the deck views of The o2 and Canary Wharf can be seen.
The new Champagne deck is the first new development to be launched under the management of GM Arun Kumar, who joined the property in November 2017 armed with ideas.
Speaking to Boutique Hotelier, Migle Silanskaite, operations manager at Sunborn Yacht London said: “The newly-launched bar was a huge success over the Bank Holiday weekend and has received a lot of interest from the public as well as guest staying on the yacht.”
The 131-bedroom property is currently home a Lands End restaurant, where Kumar wants to make it more about fine dining.
Sunborn London opened in April 2014, when it was transported from Holland to its berth. It was the city’s first ‘Superyacht Hotel’ and is managed by ISS.
