Fitzrovia boutique Arosfa Hotel sold to Singaporean Buxani Group

The leasehold of The Arosfa Hotel in Fitzrovia has been sold to Singaporean buyer, the Buxani Group, in a deal brokered by Savills.

The 17-bedroom boutique hotel is located in the Bloomsbury district of Fitzrovia and comprises a private garden and front lounge with bar area provide communal space for guests.

The hotel dates back to the Georgian era and was the former home of Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais.

Under its new ownership, the hotel will be managed by Compass Hospitality.

Gary Witham, hotels director at Savills, comments: “We are pleased to have successfully delivered this lease assignment for the private owner. Singaporean investor Buxani Group acquired the lease and the operation of the Arosfa Hotel will be managed for them by Compass Hospitality. London remains an active target for overseas investors, particularly for these small but high quality hotels.”
