Christie + Co has brought to market a country house hotel on a mountain pass within the Snowdonia foothills with a guide price of £1m.
Sychnant Pass Country House is set within three acres of gardens, and comprises 12 bedrooms and extensive leisure facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, gym and hot tub.
The five-AA-star hotel has been owned and operated for the past nine years by Janet McLarty, who is seeking a sale in order to retire from the hotel trade.
As well as its facilities and 12 bedrooms, Sychnant Pass Country House is home to a residents loungea and a fine dining restaurant that is popular with both guests and non-residents.
Alistair Greenhalgh, director at Christie & Co, is handling the sale and comments, “Sychnant Pass Country House offers potential purchasers a stunning location, excellent facilities, and a great reputation. For a hands-on owner operator seeking a lifestyle business with a strong trading history it ticks all the boxes. The hotel also benefits from a civil wedding licence, and ample garden space for marquees which offers the potential to further develop the weddings and events aspects of the business.”
