Plans to convert a former fish warehouse by Porthleven harbour in Cornwall into a new boutique hotel and gallery have been given the green light.
Councillors in Cornwall have approved a proposal to transform an old stone fish warehouse and add another building alongside to form a new 14-bedroom hotel, complete with restaurant, café and art gallery.
The project is being spearheaded by property developer Trevor Osborne, who owns the harbour and many of its principle buildings in Porthleven.
He has slowly been restoring and converting each building mostly into restaurants for the area.
Plans for the new hotel were first unveiled in January 2018, reported by Cornwall Live, with Osborne’s Harbour and Dock Company submitting a proposal to the council.
