AA four-star hotel Ye Olde Bell in Barnby Moor has revealed plans to open the doors to a new multimillion pound luxury spa in late spring this year.
The new 17,000 sq ft spa will be home to ten hot and cold experiences, including a custom-made ‘snowstorm’ experience, a Sabbia Med Sunlight therapy, steambath, salt cascade room, mud Rasul, Swiss pine sauna, mineralising stonebath, herb laconium, shower walk and indoor-to-outdoor hydropool.
The spa will also boast six treatment rooms, a hairdressers and express salon, all built over two floors, with numerous relaxation areas and a bar and restaurant with theatre-style kitchen.
It will be designed in conjunction with Spa Vision by Spa Directors, Sadie Ardron-Levack and Lizzie Bath, with the interiors created by Hilary Levack and designer Tonia Wynne of Homestead Interiors, both of whom were involved in the full design refurbishment of the hotel.
The spa will sit adjacent to the 59-bedroom Ye Olde Bell and given a similar style to the hotel.
The hotel is also home to eight suites with courtyard access and also two executive two-storey lodges.
