Glenapp Castle sees 60% rise in long stay bookings proving demand for the staycation

An impressive rise in bookings at Glenapp Castle in Scotland is proving that pent-up demand for the UK staycation is here.

Since the luxury 17-bedroom hotel in Scotland announced it was reopening its doors on July 15 last month, bookings have rocketed, with 15% more bookings made this June compared to last year.

This is combined with a 60% rise YOY in long-stay bookings, with 35% of those bookings requesting four nights or more.

Glenapp Castle has also seen a 50% increase in enquiries for weddings and exclusive use.

This is buoyed by the fact that the hotel is preparing to launch its new four-bedroom, four-bathroom penthouse suite, The Endeavour in September this year.

The majority of bookings and enquiries are coming from the UK.

Glenapp Castle has created its own Stay Safe policy as well as now being approved with the VisitBritain ‘We’re Good to Go’ accreditation.
