Iconic Scottish resort Gleneagles is to unveil its new Sporting Club next month as the hotel bolsters its outdoor pursuits offering.
The new Gleneagles Sporting Club is a ‘state-of-the-art’ facility for ‘high-energy racquet sports, challenging climbs and refined equestrian pursuits’ due to open officially in August.
The space, formerly known as The Gleneagles Arena, has been transformed with a lounge, championship Padel courts, two indoor tennis courts, a climbing wall and equestrian school.
All pursuits are available for guests to book and complements the hotel’s vast selection of activities on site.
Gleneagles is home to 232 bedrooms, three golf courses, a spa and a two Michelin star restaurant. It is headed up by managing director Conor O’Leary.
Gleneagles Townhouse, a city off-shoot, opened in Edinburgh in June 2022, comprising a members’ club, 33 hotel bedrooms and a public restaurant called The Spence.
Gleneagles is part of the Ennismore group, which also includes brands such as The Hoxton, Mama Shelter and Mondrian.
