Grade-II listed manor house toasts new terrace

The Wood Norton hotel in Evesham is celebrating the launch of its new Taittinger terrace and is inviting guests to come and try out its new outdoor offering.

The grade-II listed manor house in Worcestershire will officially open its new space on 18th June, marking the start of a new partnership between the hotel and the Champagne brand Taittinger.

The hotel is inviting local residents and businesses to experience the new terrace, with drinks and al fresco dining now on offer.

The launch of the hotel’s Taittinger Terrace is the latest development in the hotel’s £10m refurbishment programme, and follows the opening of The Wood Norton’s orangery in early 2014.

Since its official opening in late 2012, the 50-bedroomed The Wood Norton has become a popular choice for visitors to the area as well as locals, and is hoping to attract many more with the launch of its new terrace.

General manager Steve Sweeny commented: "As a Grade II listed manor house steeped in French history, we are delighted to be supported by a brand that not only shares the same origin, but also complements both the quality and ambience of the hotel.
"In welcoming local residents and businesses to join to us in our celebrations, we will demonstrate how The Wood Norton is a desirable food and beverage venue, ideal for fine dining, evening drinks or for the business world, corporate events."
