The Grand Hotel Eastbourne hires new head chef for Mirabelle restaurant

The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne, part of the Elite Hotels group, has appointed Stephanie Malvoisin as head chef of its award-winning Mirabelle Restaurant.

She joins the team at five-star coastal hotel The Grand after three years as head chef at Laura Ashley The Manor Elstree and seven years at The Goring. She also brings international culinary experience, having worked in hotel restaurants in France, Canada and the Caribbean.

As head chef of The Grand’s Mirabelle Restaurant, Malvoisin will be responsible for producing creative menus for the 2 AA Rosette fine-dining restaurant.

Speaking after her appointment, Stephanie Malvoisin said: “The Mirabelle Restaurant has an excellent reputation and I am really looking forward to a new challenge. I’ll be bringing some classic French flair to the restaurant’s modern British menus, and I also look forward to mentoring the young chefs and apprentice chefs in the team.”
