Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire has become the latest independent hotel to join Pride of Britain Hotels.
The 47 room hotel, which is situated close to the Cathedral city of Ripon and the Yorkshire Dales joins the 50-strong luxury hotel collection at what it says is “an exciting time” for the hotel.
A 17th century Georgian mansion set in formal garden and parkland the hotel has recently benefited from an extensive four-year renovation.
In addition to its 47 rooms, all of which provide countryside views, the hotel is also home to a Royal Suite, set over two floors with views of the River Skell and a Presidential Suite which can be accessed from the rooftop atrium and has its own Baby Grand piano.
The hotel’s flagship restaurant, Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall, has received rave reviews, and features ingredients that are often sourced locally or at the hotel itself.
There are also several other food and drink options, including Asian fusion restaurant EightyEight and Fletcherswhich serves British and European cuisine with a parkland view.
Meanwhile Grantley Hall’s Three Graces Spa includes an impressive 18-metre marble-lined indoor swimming pool, an indoor-to-outdoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and snow room..

Grantley Hall has replaced the Farncombe Estate, which left
the collection in June 2019.
