Hallmark Hotel The Welcombe in Stratford-upon-Avon has undergone a £100k refurbishment to its luxury spa facilities.

Originally built in 1866, the Jacobean-style house is set in 157 acres of parkland, and is also home to 78 bedrooms and an 18-hole championship golf course.

General manager Daniel Graham said “We’re delighted to have undertaken our spa refurbishment programme and created a fresh and revitalised place for our guests. Our spa remains one of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the region and is a huge asset to the hotel.”

All of the other 25 hotels across the Hallmark group will be given a modern update this year as part of a wider refurbishment initiative to remain competitive.
