Harbour Hotels has unveiled the first new development at its debut hotel in London.
The coastal hotel group has launched The Gate, a new social all-day dining concept, at its first property in the capital in Richmond.
The Gate is a new concept for the group, adding to the successful Jetty dining experience at other hotels in the portfolio.
John Pollard, chef director, has developed The Gate’s kitchen concept, with menus boasting a ‘modern brasserie style’ with all day dining, seasonally-inspired a la carte dishes, with an emphasis on comfort food and modern cooking techniques.
Harbour Hotels acquired the 68-bedroom Richmond Gate hotel in December 2017 and has spent the last year renovating and updating the property to bring it in line with the Harbour brand.
The new Gate restaurant officially opened to the public on November 2.
The Harbour Hotels portfolio comprises of a total of 11 hotels and two venues, and follows the acquisition of two hotels in Cornwall earlier this year from the Richardson Hotels.
