Northern Irish hotel chain, Hastings Hotels has unveiled the completion of a three-year £4.8m investment programme into its Culloden Estate and Spa in Belfast.

The property has finished a series of renovations which has seen its restaurant redeveloped, the spa given a makeover, plus the addition of new bedrooms to take the total room count to 98.

The hotel is now home to a new Mitre Restaurant, Stuart Suite and nail bar, while two floors of bedrooms were given a refresh.

In February last year, Hastings Hotels gave the spa at the Culloden Estate a renovation with a £1m investment as part of celebrations to commemorate the spa’s 25 years in business.

The whole project was carried out over a three-year period and completed just as the hotel won the title of Luxury Hotel of the Year at the Irish Hotel Awards.

Culloden Estate and Spa general manager Eoin O’Sullivan said: “There is now ‘a brand new facade to a wing of the hotel with larger rooms and magnificent bathrooms overlooking landscaped gardens, all with the aim of providing [Culloden] guests with an even more enjoyable experience.”
