Highbullen Hotel in Devon joins Bespoke Hotels on the cusp of expansion


Highbullen Hotel Golf and Country Club in Devon has joined the Bespoke Hotels collection.

The newest addition to the Bespoke Hotels portfolio joins at an exciting time, with the hotel due to embark on a number of new expansion projects including the creation of new luxury lodges, plus a new spa.

The 42-bedroom Highbullen Hotel dates back to 1879 and is surrounded by 125 acre estate, with views across the Mole Valley and Exmoor.

The hotel is owned by Frank Chapman, who took over the property in 2013 and has invested extensively in its development ever since.

Highbullen Hotel is also home to a 2 AA Rosette Devon View restaurant, featuring floor to ceiling windows, while the hotel’s more casual dining eatery., The Cellar offers a laid back feel.

An 18-hole USGA specification golf course, tennis courts, and spa featuring both an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, make up the hotel’s leisure facilities.

The Italian-styled Palazzo is the hotel’s event space and can host up to 400 guests.
