Historic welsh hotel with heaps of ‘revenue growth potential’ goes on the market

The historic Feathers Royal Hotel in the coastal town of Aberaeron in West Wales – a property with ‘significant’ revenue and profitability growth opportunities – has been brought to the market.

Christie & Co and GVA in a joint instruction have put the hotel, which dates back to 1815, up for sale off a guide price of £595k as it’s current owners look to retire.

The hotel is home to 13 bedrooms, a restaurant, function room and lounge bar and is situated in a popular tourist village.

The hotel has been run by the current owner for the last 11 years, during which time they have built a successful business with a strong reputation for weddings and other major functions.

The sellers say that The Feathers Royal Hotel represents a ‘superb and rarely available’ opportunity to purchase a profitable business with multiple income streams, with ‘significant potential’ to build on this.

Joint agents John Coggins (GVA) and Corrina Jones (Christie & Co) comment; “The Feathers Royal Hotel is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced operator looking for a high quality hotel with a robust trade mix and potential for growth or for a lifestyle purchaser looking for a business in a truly special location.”
