Liverpool boutique hotel, Hope Street, is to open the doors to its new bedroom extension in spring 2020.

Following a complete transformation, the independent hotel has extended into the adjacent building, originally the Royal School for the Blind, to launch extra bedrooms and a host of new facilities.

The 1851 Grade-II building will see the addition of 62 new rooms, including 15 suites. Additionally there will be a spa, a private cinema, a brand new gym and a new fifth-floor event space.

Owner David Brewitt opened the hotel in 2004, but then from 2007 to 2009 it was rebuilt and extended into the former police station building next door.
