Hotel uniform supplier, Simon Jersey, is inviting people to enter a new competition that will see the winner spend the day with Team GB as they make their final preparations for Rio Olympics 2016.
Simon Jersey is providing Team GB with formal suits as well as clothing for the closing ceremony for this year’s Games, and the supplier is now on the hunt for inspirational people around the UK who are worthy of spending the day with the team as they get ready for Rio 2016.
Anyone over 18 can nominate someone who inspires them to win a day at the ‘Kitting Out’ experience at Birmingham NEC, taking place this summer.
There, the nominee and the person who writes the winning story will join an Olympic medallist as they go through the experience of receiving their kit before the Games.
The winner will also be fitted for their own bespoke suit from Simon Jersey, as well as some of the kit usually reserved for Team GB participating in Rio 2016.
Kerrie Medlicott, marketing director for Simon Jersey, said: “Team GB athletes are set to make the whole nation proud this summer when they compete in Rio. However we also want to know the hidden stories of inspirational people all over the UK and give them a money-can’t-buy prize.
“They could be someone who never stops doing good deeds, an amazing leader, or someone that’s achieved a major sporting goal like our Team GB stars. We’ve had some fantastic entries already but are keen to make sure everyone has the chance to nominate their inspirational friends.”
