Hotel Café Royal has announced new appointments to its executive team in a bid to strengthen its position in the luxury hospitality market.
The hotel is part of The Set hotels collection, which also consists of the Conservatorium in Amsterdam and Hotel Lutetia in Paris that is due to open in 2017.
To Hotel Café Royal, Laura Cammarano joins as director of sales, having joined from the role of assistant director of sales at the Maybourne Group.
Franziska Lein, takes on the position of the hotel’s new senior sales manager. Previously at Mandarin Oriental in Paris, Lein looked after European wide markets across the leisure and MICE market segments and will focus on this at Hotel Café Royal.
The hotel’s new director of groups and events, Sasha Taylor, comes armed with a wealth of experience including five years at Claridge’s and more recently at Rosewood London.
Within The Set hotels’ group, Andreas Bergfeld becomes account director – corporate markets, while former sales director at Hotel Café Royal, Rohit Gupta, has been prmoted to regional director of sales, Middle East for The Set hotels.
