Hotel du Vin in Newcastle has become the next hotel in the boutique brand to undergo a refurbishment of its bistro, following a significant investment programme.
Ten years after the property first opened its doors, the bistro has now been given a complete makeover to continue the roll out of restaurant upgrades across the Hotel du Vin portfolio.
The new look has been created by Newcastle interior designers Dakota House of Design, with Peter Hodgson, director saying the brief was ‘challenging’, having to move the design forward ‘while protecting its individual identity’.
Hotel du Vin Newcastle general manager Adam Green said: “We are thrilled with the new design; it perfectly blends our brand’s culture with the rich history that surrounds us on the Quayside. Our diners come to us for the fantastic food and drink we have to offer and the beautiful new Bistro setting will complement the whole dining experience.”
The launch of the Bistro coincides with a new barbecue inspired menu also now available during the summer at the hotel.
