Hotel du Vin in Birmingham is preparing to unveil the results of its recent £1m refurbishment of its bedrooms.
The Grade-II listed building, formerly home to the Birmingham Eye Hospital in the 1880s, has given its 66 bedrooms a new look and is reading for completion in September.
The major refurbishment is the first since the hotel opened in 2001, with Dexter Moren Associates spearheading the new look.
General manager Tom Gallimore said: “We are extremely excited for the renovation to be complete; the bedrooms haven’t been decorated since the hotel opened over 18 years ago so it’s going to be a real change for us.
“I am really pleased with the plans and look forward to unveiling the new styled rooms once they are all ready to showcase.”
