Hotel du Vin targets ‘adventurous’ Brits with new afternoon tea spread


Hotel du Vin has launched a new gin-inspired afternoon tea offering, partnering with Fever-Tree for the ‘adventurous’ spread. 

The boutique hotel group’s new menu features a selection of hand-picked gins, each paired with its own tonic to bring something new to consumers, as well as a selection of tea infusions created especially by Twinings.

The full afternoon tea comes in at £20, with each menu featuring a quirky treat of rhubarb and custard doughnuts and homemade apple candy floss to round off the occasion.

A knickerbocker glory, lemon meringue pie, raspberry and dark chocolate teacakes plus scones and jam are among some of the more traditional staples.
