A new manager has been appointed for the family-run Corse Lawn House in Gloucestershire, who returns to the hotel on the payroll for the second time to ‘hit the ground running’.
David Jenkins will work in close partnership with the Grade-II listed hotel’s owner and proprietor, Baba Hine, in overseeing the operational management of Corse Lawn House.
Jenkins rejoins the team after stints at a variety of Cotswolds hotels, including The Slaughters Manor House, alongside The Greenway Hotel and Cotswold House Hotel.
He first spent 22 years at Corse Lawn Hotel from 1996, progressing through the ranks in a range of roles throughout the hotel after gaining experience.
Speaking of his appointment, he said: “Having spent time here in previous years, I have been able to hit the ground running when it comes to getting under the skin of my new role. I look forward to welcoming guests, both new and returning – particularly as we enter such a jam-packed festive period, which will certainly keep me on my toes!”
The country house hotel has recently celebrated an outstanding 40 years in business.
Owner and proprietor, Baba Hine said: “It is a real pleasure to be working alongside David once again. As a key member of the team, David is a highly talented manager and we are thrilled to have his expertise on board as we move into a busy 2019.”
