Hotels up and down the country are being given the chance to apply for Channel 5’s The Hotel Inspector, as the show changes direction for 2018.

The show, which is now in its 14th series, is calling for businesses to get in touch for a chance to feature on the programme and get a helping hand from Alex Polizzi herself.

For 2018, the show is looking to slightly change direction with Polizzi looking for a new challenge.

The show’s producers want to hear from aspirational hotels that may not be reaching their full potential, with any properties from Luxury spa retreats to coastal hotels being encouraged to get involved to hear valuable, no-nonsense advice to help businesses reach the next level.

Born from a long line of hoteliers and with 20 years’ experience under her belt, Alex expertly examines staffing, menus, décor and branding – breathing new life into Britain’s guest houses, B&B’s and hotels.

Former contestant Trevor, owner of Atlantic House Hotel, Bude said: “It was a fantastic experience. It was an opportunity to have the advice of a respected hotelier and that’s advice you would have to pay a lot of money for. I went in knowing I would take Alex’s advice. What is the point in doing it otherwise? The night of the broadcast our website crashed.”

To apply, or just to find out more, please email the team at or call them on 01752 727 400.
