Fast approaching is the industry’s biggest London hospitality exhibition, which will once again attract hoteliers and restaurateurs from up and down the country looking for inspiration and new innovation. The difference? This year the event has been given a refreshed new identity, encompassing four shows in one in a bid to reinvigorate its reputation. We look ahead at what not to miss in the fourth day of our previews.
Stand number: The Professional Kitchen Show
At Hotelympia’s Professional Kitchen Show 2018 visitors will experience the latest SelfCookingCenter and VarioCookingCenter as chefs demonstrate the multifunctional capacities on stand 1210. Rational will also show how its range of specialist accessories can enhance cooking results and make life easier for the kitchen brigade. Demonstrations will include the Multibaker, the grill and pizza tray and the cross and stripe grill grate. The ConnectedCooking 2.0 allows users to link their SelfCookingCenters and VarioCookingCenters to a network, and monitor operation remotely. They can also program multiple units, all at the same time. Rational‘s expert chefs will show visitors how easy it is to prepare different meals with the SelfCookingCenter and VarioCookingCenter, by offering samples and conducting live cooking demonstrations. Also being demonstrated will be the VarioMobil, an accessory for the VarioCookingCenter that, according to Rational, makes it very easy to transport food cooked in the unit. Visitors to the show will be able to see how a kitchen with a SelfCookingCenter and a VarioCookingCenter can cook everything that a modern foodservice operation requires from a minimal footprint, using less energy than conventional appliances.
