Bed manufacturer Hypnos has launched a new pillowtop mattress that eliminates the ‘turning’ process for hotel housekeepers.
The new Beaumont pillow-top mattress has a sewn-in topper that provides an extra level of comfort and requires no turning, just seasonal rotation, minimising housekeeping and maintenance.
Hypnos, which specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of specialist hospitality beds, has designed and engineered the Beaumont after similar Hypnos products proved popular with both homeowners and hotel guests.
Whilst working closely with hoteliers, Hypnos had noticed a preference amongst hotel guests for more cushioned and slightly softer mattresses, hence the Beaumont was born.
It comes with pocket springs for head to toe support and wool and silk to help ‘naturally’ regulate body temperature.
The no-turn Beaumont was also created to be 20% lighter than Hypnos’ other turnable hotel mattresses.
The Beaumont is also treated with HealthGuardTM, an hygienic fabric that provides long-lasting protection against bed bugs and dust mites.
The mattress also complies with BS 7177 (Crib 5) Fire Retardancy regulations and also comes with a five-year guarantee.
Chris Ward, marketing director at Hypnos, comments: “The Beaumont pillow top mattress will undoubtedly prove a hit with guests and the hospitality industry as it was developed in response to insight and feedback regarding similar proven products. It’ll certainly also helps housekeepers save time and it provides yet another solution for hoteliers when they are considering what luxurious sleep experience to create for their bedrooms and what level of comfort they will be remembered for.”
