Independent Hotel Show postponed until 2021

This October’s Independent Hotel Show in London has been postponed until 2021 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The leading exhibition for independent, luxury hotels was scheduled to take place on October 5-6 at Olympia London, but this has now been pushed back until October 4-5, next year.

“Over the last two months, we have seen the significant impact coronavirus (COVID-19) is having across the world and we are committed to supporting the entire hotel community in these challenging times.

“The situation is changing daily and the pressure on the whole industry is huge. We have been listening to feedback from our community, as well as information from the government and public health authorities and it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to postpone Independent Hotel Show until 4-5 October 2021.”

The 2020 edition of the show was due to be relocated into a bigger hall, with a new layout and added features as well as its ever-popular seminar programme.

Each year the Independent Hotel Show welcomes almost 7,000 hoteliers from across the world.

To support owners and operators during this time, the company behind IHS has launched The Montgomery Group Series; weekly webinars with Q&As from leading industry figureheads.
