Last year, Debrah left her position as managing director at Dukes London to join The Apartment Group, based in Northumberland. She had been with the hotel and parent company Seven Tides for 10 years, overseeing the launch of Dukes Dubai in 2016 and keeping the London boutique at the forefront of the sector during her tenure.
She took Dukes London from strength to strength; renovating and establishing a cigar lounge, a Perrier Jouët champagne lounge, new suites designed by Shaun Clarkson and launched restaurant Thirty Six by Nigel Mendham as well as keeping Dukes Bar at the core of the business.
When she was appointed for her new role with The Apartment Group (TAG) in September last year, founder of the portfolio, Duncan Fisher said that she would be ‘a key component in helping TAG move into its next stage of growth’.
The Apartment Group is a significant player in the North East’s leisure sector with a portfolio comprising hotels, restaurants, coaching inns and bars.
