Two luxury properties in Scotland, Inverlochy Castle and Greywalls & Chez Roux, have become the latest hotels to join the Small Luxury Hotels of the World portfolio.
The two hotels are managed by Inverlochy Castle Management International (IMCI), which includes two other SLH member hotels in Scotland – Cromlix in Dunblane and Crossbasket Castle in Glasgow – and both properties are also home to restaurants overseen by chefs Albert Roux and son Michel Roux Jr.
Through the new partnership, Inverlochy Castle and Greywalls will have access to SLH’s global reservation platform as well as the brand’s sales, marketing and distribution services.
Situated in the foothill of Ben Nevis, the 19th century Inverlochy Castle is home to 17 bedrooms, while Greywalls & Chez Roux is an Edwardian country house hotel on the edge of Muirfield championship golf course.
Norbert Lieder, managing director at Inverlochy Castle Management International (IMCI), said: “We are delighted to join an organization as prestigious as Small Luxury Hotels of the World, that combines the same core values to offer intimate and personalized experiences for guests, with the highest standards of quality in hospitality. SLH will give us a great platform to connect with our global customers and strengthen our international image.”
Daniel Luddington, vice president of development at SLH, adds: “It is a pleasure to welcome the beautiful Inverlochy Castle and Greywalls Hotel as our newest Scottish properties. Both hotels exude a timeless sense of tradition and prestige inspired by their unique cultural heritage and unparalleled locations. They align perfectly with our brand values and the independently minded ethos required of the SLH collection.”
