Abbey Hotel

A hotel on the north coast of Isle of Sheppey is up for sale with an asking price of £2.69m.

Christie + Co has brought to market the Abbey Hotel in Minster on Sea, which comprises 50 bedrooms, a bar lounge and restaurant with 70 covers, as well as a first-floor function room that can accommodate 120 guests.

The purpose built hotel, which takes its name from the nearby Minster Abbey, has been owned by the Odedra family for the last ten years, and has built up strong levels of trade and significant repeat business during their tenure.

The site also boasts owner’s accommodation on the first floor, which includes a lounge, kitchen and two bedrooms.

Set within over two acres of grounds, the property features a courtyard style garden and extensive grounds, as well as extensive parking.

Andrew Moore, director at Christie & Co is handling the sale and comments: “It is always a pleasure selling a hotel that was last bought through Christie & Co. The Abbey is the only purpose built hotel on the Isle of Sheppey and as such, it has a unique position in the market there, representing a solid investment for a new incoming owner.”
