It is Notting Hill for Living Rooms latest venture

The new Living Rooms hotel is named after Rhaune Laslett community activist and organiser of the original Notting Hill Festival, which went on to become the Carnival.

The hotel will occupy five Victorian houses in Pembridge Gardens, less than a minute from Notting Hill Gate underground and almost within spitting distance of Portobello Road Market and the Electric cinema.

Downstairs The Laslett is planned to offer exhibitions and installations from local photographers and artists and to serve craft London spirits and be more bar and coffe bar hangout than lobby

The 51 guest rooms and suites, are very British in character, furnished with bits and pieces that might easily have been picked up in nearby Portobello Market. Modern furniture is offset with books for bedtime reading, along with traditional blankets.

Plenty of in-room sustenance in the form of snacks, drinks and French-press coffee is designed to make guests feel really at home.
