Lainston House in Hampshire has become the 50th property to join Pride of Britain Hotels.
The 17th century hotel near Winchester is part of the Exclusive Collection, which also includes Pennyhill Park, South Lodge and the Manor House.
Comprising 50 bedrooms, fine dining restaurant The Avenue, overseen by executive chef Phil Yeomans and The Cedar Bar, the luxury hotel sits in 63 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland and is headed up by general manager Sunil Kanjanghat.
Lainston House is now the only property in the Exclusive Collection portfolio to be part of Pride of Britain Hotels. and replaces South Lodge.
Peter Hancock, chief executive of Pride of Britain Hotels said the addition of the hotel is an ‘asset to the collection’.
General manager, Sunil Kanjanghat, says: “Lainston House is delighted to be joining Pride of Britain’s prestigious collection of hotels. We are based in a beautiful part of the Hampshire countryside, yet close enough to explore the delights of historic Winchester.”
Lainston House is the only property in the Exclusive Collection portfolio to be part of Pride of Britain Hotels.
The property is also home to Season cookery school.
