A resort operator in Lancashire has today launched its latest property to market, with the opening of Crow Wood Hotel & Spa.
The team behind The Woodland Spa, Bertram’s Restaurant and Crow Wood health club is bidding for the business to become ‘one of the best hotels in Lancashire’, following the £12.9m project.
The luxury property, set in 40 acres of parkland in Burnley within the Crow Wood resort, comprises 76 bedrooms and suites, wedding and conference facilities and a restaurant headed up by chef director Spencer Burge.
The complete Crow Wood resort is set in 100 acres of woodland in Burnley, with the new hotel set to complement its existing facilities, from The Woodland Spa to the signature restaurant, Bertram’s, and Lounge.
Wilfred’s, a new restaurant on site, also launched this year.
Speaking to Lancashire Telegraph, Andrew Brown, the hotel’s managing director, said: “It’s nice to do something for the town, and to repay the town, which has certainly been very good to me.”
Crow Wood was first established in 2001 as a private members facility, with £4.5m investment into Bertram’s and The Woodland Spa in 2013.
