The new operating structure for Guest Worldwide, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sysco Corporation, will create three new business segments; Gilchrist & Soames (bathroom products manufacturer), Manchester Mills (textiles), Guest Supply (hospitality supplies).
Sandy Romoser, executive vice president, Guest Worldwide, said the company was ‘optimising the business model’ to create a more ‘focused and agile’ organisation to better meeting its customers changing needs and to drive growth.
“Operating as a complementary portfolio of businesses will enable us to focus on our customers’ unique needs and drive innovation across each business segment, while also leveraging a shared services model to create efficiencies,” he says.
Paul Xenis, president and chief operating officer, Guest Worldwide, said: “Guest Worldwide is a global collective of dynamic, industry-leading companies with more than 40 years of unparalleled experience serving the unique needs of markets in every corner of the world.”
Xenis and Romoser will continue to lead the Guest Supply business unit, in conjunction with the responsibilities associated with their Guest Worldwide roles.
Reporting to Romoser will be Elizabeth McNulty and Roys Laux, who will be leading Manchester Mills and Gilchrist & Soames, respectively, and who will have responsibility for growing the global manufacturing business units.
