The Levin Hotel in London has appointed a new head chef, who takes the helm of the property’s The Knightsbridge Metro restaurant.
The 12-bedroom boutique and sister to adjacent hotel The Capital has welcomed Danny MacGechan to the role.
After starting his career at Soho Soho, MacGechan went on to work with Eric Chavot, Marco Pierre-White’s The Canteen, L’Escargot and Hawksmoor.
MacGechan has created a new menu of small sharing plates, with authentic flavours and seasonality to complement the relaxed vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday,
The Levin was acquired by US-based Warwick Hotels and Resorts in January 2017 after more than 50 years under the ownership of the Levin family.
